Hi. We bought a 2007 Jayco Jayflight brand new last fall. We absolutely love it, and have only used it 3 times. DH went to vacuum it and mop the floors because we have our first trip of the season planned this weekend. He used plain water--parts of the vinyl flooring actually came off in spots--the paint. He didn't scrub it, and we have no explanation. You have to be able to mop the laminate, right?:confused3 We are only 7 months into our 2 year warranty, so he's going to call the dealer tomorrow. Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks.

Thats a bummer. I have never heard of that. I clean mine with a WetJet all the time and it hasn't done anything. I would call too and see if they can take care of it. Good luck!

I have never heard of that either! I hope you get a quick resolution to your problem without it end up costing you!

Do you mean the actual print washed off of the vinyl flooring???? What the hell kinda cheap flooring did they use in there????? I mean, I'm all about saving money.....but Ive never heard of an erasable tile?!?!

Never heard of that! Hope they fix it for ya.

We have a 2001 Jayco Eagle and I've used Fantasik on the vinyl floor, and nothing happened. I had some spots where pine cone sap was on there pretty good. Took the Fantastik and a scrubby(not steel wool) and it came right out..and NO the coloring didn't fade at all. The flooring in our trailer is very light. I've noticed the newer units the flooring has been darker in color, I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Either way, I think ours is an Armstrong pattern, and certainly plain water shouldn't effect it that way. I would call the dealer also. Good luck, and let us know what happens.

If you have problems with the warranty let me know, I have an RvUsa warranty action page, where I may be able to put some pressure on them to make it right.

The top level of the vinyl scratched off. DH said to tell you it is congoleum.
I'm really upset, since it was brand new. DH feels bad, and all he did was wash the floor! (Congratulations on your recent graduate by the way!)

Thank you so much!!!!!! I hope it doesn't have to get that far. We're just upset because it is brand new, and it really is our pride and joy. I'll let you know what happens. :goodvibes

We have a 2005 Jayco Jayflight and have never had a problem with our floors. We camp in ours about five times a year and have three kids, so it gets a "beating". I usually clean it with a wet swifter. I would use that warranty, that is what it is there for.

So far the dealer has been cooperative. We had to email pictures of the floor to them, and then they were going to asses it, and contact Jayco if necessary.
Thanks for all of your support.:goodvibes
