Question about views at POFQ

We are staying at POFQ in June and I was wondering if there is anyway to see the boat parades or the fireworks from there and if there is, where is the best place to sit and see them?

Nope, not really. The electric water parade only goes by GF, Polynesian, Contemporary, WL. Doesn't get anywhere close to PO.

Fireworks - maybe, but I doubt it. They'd have to be pretty high off the ground with all the trees around. You can hear them, though.

Every now and then you can see the Epcot fireworks above the trees in the parking lot by bldg. 4 and that direction. But, I don't think there is a bldg. where you can see them really good. I could be wrong, though. Perhaps someone knows different. Keep in mind that you don't have a balcony. There is a walkway in front of your room but not any place to really sit.

As far as other views there is a water view which means you would be looking at the pool/hot tub or the river. The standard view basically means you are looking at a courtyard or are close to the parking lot area. We have stayed in a view where we looked at the river. It was nice but we've never splurged since to have it again. We don't spend enough time in the room to make it worth the xtra money.

You will enjoy the FQ. We really like the resort.

What time is the electric water parade? We have ressies for Chef Mickey's, so we might could catch it then.
