Question about views at BWI-check your confirmation!

Just reading about the BWI on Deb Wills' site. It says that a variable view may not be a direct view of the lake because of a discount. I am staying concierge with no discount adn just checked my confirmation. It says variable, instead of preferred. Has this happened to anyone? Should I call?

Whenever I have had that on my confirmation I have gotten a quiet view. This is a view of the gardens and quiet pool. It is very pretty and I enjoyed it. Did you request a BW view when making your reservations? I know this is extra. Whichever view you have you will love it there. It is my favorite place to stay.
