Question about V&A

I have some questions about the menu at Victoria & Alberts. I would LOVE to be able to do the chef's table there, but the problem is I don't really think I'll ever be able to schedule it 180 days in advance (because of work; can't really plan a trip that far in advance without having to probably cancel it later). Question: can you order the same menu you get at the chef's table if you sit in the regular dining room? Or is that not an option? I know that I read something about this one time but can't remember where or exactly what it said.
Also, questions on the regular menu: is it also a tasting menu, or do you order each course individually?
thanks!!

IIRC, no. The Chef's Table includes more courses, and some are prepared just for the table. That said, when we've done the CT, we noticed things we were not having heading out to the dining room. Regarding the regular menu, I believe it's 7 courses but you do get some choices in there. Sure someone else will post, help clarify for you. FWIW.

No at the chef table you are served a special meal prepared by the chef for you according to your likes and dislikes. The chefs table is great but the dining room is also a wonderful experience. Actually DH and I find the dining room to be more romantic.

Yes, I already did this. When making the reservation on the phone I asked for the "chef table menu" in the dining room. I had to wait in line, while the CM asked, but it went through. If you'll do the "chef table menu" you cannot choose anything, they may ask for dislikes, but all courses are chosen by the chef. That's why they call it "chef menu"!

For each course you have two or more options to choose from. But beware: Some options are extra (like Caviar or Kobe beef!).

Whatever you choose, chef table or regular menu. You will enjoy it!
