Question about using SAB on check out day!

On our May trip, we are renting points and staying in a studio at SSR for most of the trip. However, we have booked the Yacht Club for our first night - then we move to SSR the next night for the remainder of the stay.

The main reason we booked the Yacht Club for the first night was so we could enjoy the pool, which we have always wanted to try. So, I have two questions.

First, I just want to make sure that we will be allowed to use SAB all day on the day we check out. We plan to just spend that day hanging around the YC and enjoying the pool, then head over to SSR that evening. Can we do that?

Second, I'm assuming that there is some place at the pool for us to dry off and change clothes after we're done swimming and stuff - since we won't have a room anymore. Is that right?

I'm pretty sure the answer to both of these questions is yes, but I just wanted to make absolutely sure, since that's the whole reason we chose the YC for that first night.

Okay...yes you can definetly use SAB on your check out day from YC. Your room key will have your dates on it and you can stay until the end of the day on your check out date.

As for a place to change, the only place at SAB to change is in the bathrooms ...they are not set up with showers and changing areas though like at the GF or the Poly but we've done it lots of times on check out day...it's actually kind of a pain in the neck but better than the alternative of not spending the day at the pool.

You can spend all day at the pool on your check out day if you want! They have a place to change your clothes right in the middle of SAB or you could also use one of the bathrooms right next to Beaches and Cream.

Thanks! We don't really care about a shower or anything, since we can just head over to our new room at SSR and shower and clean up there before dinner. We just need a place to change clothes.

Do the bathrooms in the middle have the actual changing areas? We've been changing in the bathrooms next to B&C for the past few trips and never thought to check the ones over in the middle. Just curious now....hmm....

I don't think those bathrooms in the middle do have changing areas, but I could be wrong. Another alternative (although still without an actual changing area) is to use the bathrooms down by the BC quiet pool. It's a little bit of a walk from SAB (couple hundred yards), but the bathrooms are right on the walkway to Epcot and appear not to get a lot if use (thus, allowing the possibility of privacy).

There are men's and women's lockers, showers and a changing room you can use for free in the Health Club right next to the pool entrance. You just need to show them your resort ID and sign in their book.
