Question about using Dreams Unlimited

If I transfer my reservation from DCL to Dreams Unlimited, how does it work with seeing your reservation online with the Disney Cruise Line website? Previously I've always enjoyed being able to pull up my reservation to see my room assignment (or upgrades , book excursions, order room decorations. If I go through Dreams Unlimited, will I still be able to do this or will I have to wait for them to mail me with my room assignments, etc?

Yes, you can get everything done on the DCL website. After I made my deposit with DU everything showed up on the DCL website.

Noit only will you get a group discount with DU you will get a free gift in your room when you arrive. We got a great memory box with photo album and little rubber MCaptain michey with a frame for his face.

DU Does not have group rates for ALL cruise dates, a lot yes, but not all. BUT If you transfer to them, and at a later date that cruise gets upped to a group status DU will pass that savings onto you and you will get the gift.


You will still be able to see all your information on DCL, and still book online for shore excruisons etc. No worries there

They do have a drop down menu that shows all the current 'group rate' cruises they offer, but like I said, our first cruise with them, became a group rate maybe 3 months after we transfered it. I am not sure if they added the difference to our onboard credit or credited our final payment due, it's been a while.

And as a side note, Sadly group rates dont apply to Cat 1-3, nor does the rebooking onboard discount for those Catagories. We are in a Cat 2 this time around on a cruise that has a group rate... so no discount or gift for us (tickled to be in a Cat 2 though! Woot!)
