Question about using credits (again!)

Okay, finally the 2022 are here. I should just phone, but we went through Costco and I'm not sure I'll get a good answer if I phone them.

We are 5 who each had our cruise cancelled (same sailing) and had two rooms. We used a placeholder to book that cruise, so there's the 10% discount attached to us. We rebooked for this March, but that's not happening, so I'm going to move to next March.

1. How do I request (on Silver day!) my credits be moved (MOVED!!!) to a new sailing from the old (March 2021) sailing without someone just cancelling my sailing altogether?
2. My one son will be in university and can't sail the same date as the rest of us. Should I just cancel him? Can I use his credit for the rest of us? Should I try to book him (maybe with me) on another sailing?
3. While I'm sure they will up the prices to claw back their bonus credits, I'm thinking we will have extra to spare. Do these have to be used by each person or are they pooled for use of the cabin?
4. My sister was one of our shipmates. If she wanted to take a different sailing than the rest of us, I assume that would be fine (although she wouldn't get the placeholder discount). Well, how do I make sure my sailing gets that discount, not any other sailing that we booked because we are splitting up? OR would each member of our party have a placeholder discount attached to his/her credits?

To use a placeholder to create a new reservation, I believe you must call to do it. Maybe you'd have to do the same to move it.

An onboard booking with perks is only applicable to one future cruise, so if the onboard booking was for 4 people, you can't book 2 people each on 2 different future cruises and receive the OBC for both bookings.

Good point about only using it on one sailing. I’d better “lock” that in before trying to book anything else.
