question about uph?

If you are staying Disney property for 6 nights, can you purchase a uph for 3 days only.

If I only want to do the parks for three days over christmas but would like to park hop this seems like a cheaper option than a 4 day hopper.

It was my understanding that the whole point of UPH passes was that it was good for the lenght of stay at your resort. I wouldn't think you could buy a three day UPH if your booked at the resort for longer. But i'm just guessing at that one.

You won't be able to purchase it for 3 days. They will let you drop either your arrival day or departing day (sometimes you can do both) but that still would mean you'd have to purchase 4 days.

I believe there are some companies that actually sell a 3 day hopper. I believe Ticketmania is one, but if you do a search on 3 day park hoppers (or start a new thread) you should get more info.

You could also make multiple reservations, with one of them spanning only the days you want the UPH to be active.

It's possible that you'd have to change rooms, and you would be required to make a deposit for each separate reservation. But you could get your 3 day UPH this way!

Yes you can but it must be done at the resort, not in advance. You will have to put the three days (2 nights) you want the UPH effective for together as they must be used consecutively. If the front desk CM says you can't do it, ask to speak to their supervisor. It most defintely can be done.

The resorts have the latitude to do the UPH's without the restrictions that the CRO advance purchasing requires (length, number in party, etc).

If you purchase the pass at the hotel and not with a package, you might be able to drop either the first or last day, maybe both. You probably would have to make separate reservations to make this work.
