Question about tux for father

My dad is going to be wearing a tux to my wedding (now that I finally convinced him he had to wear one) anyway my question is should his vest and bow tie be the same as the groomsmen (which is hunter green)? or should he wear a more traditional tux with black vest and bow tie?

Hi there... at my wedding, both my Father and Step-Father wore tuxes, as well as my DH's Father. The Groom, Groomsmen, and Ring Bearer wore silver ties and silver vests... The Fathers all wore black ties and black vests. Everyone wore the same style tuxedo.

I think it is all what you prefer... Do what will make you happy! I had a hard time convincing my Father too... =)
