I'm going to DLR soon and I want to ride tower of terror. I have gone on it before and loved it, but I'm a big scardey chicken and I'm afraid to get back on. I know it's supposed to be a "surprise" but I NEED to know the beginning of the ride sequence! They take you all the way to the top before the first drop, RIGHT?

No they dont take you all the way to the top. After the mirror part, they tell you the story of the five people who entered into an elevator...blah blah blah... lol there are six drops: two tiny drops at first, then goes all the way up, take a pic, drop, then it goes almost all the way up in the dark, and goes down, then the last drop is all the way up again, and the ride ends. Yup, so two small drops, and three big drops. No big deal! Have fun:) ive gone as much as 5 times in a row without tiriing.

I am afraid of those rides too but I went for the first time last week and it was great. Those big drops near the end of them your kind of wondering when does it stop, but it was fun. You will have fun.

My 4 year old went on it last week and LOVED it don't worry about details enjoy the ride! Correct me if I am wrong but I believe their are 13 (no that is not a coincidence lol) different sequences they have.

Ive been going for years to that ride and its always been the same sequence.

The WDW version has different drop sequences. This technology has yet to come to DCA's version.

Nope, all same sequence. However when the line is a walk-on or very short, the sign does say 13 minutes (not a coincidence either).

Haha ok, I feel prepared now. I nearly puked waiting to get on the ride my first time lol. Thanks for the replies!
