I *THINK* I'm interested in 'joining' the TourGuideMike AVP.

I have read and reread all the info on his web site and I can't figure out how long a membership lasts. Is it for a month, a year, the end of 2003, a lifetime???? I did read that the AVP expired 60 days after your trip. Does that mean the whole membership to TourGuideMike expires 60 days after our trip or just that I will have access to the 'planned' part after 60 days but I can still see all the articles and pictures?? Can you tell I'm really confussed??? *LOL*

Also, we really are not sure when we are going to WDW. We are planning on going during the first part of December but unless codes come out for that time we might wait a few months until there is some kind of room discount. So, can I still join TGM without knowing what date we are going???

Thanks!!

I joined TGM and found it worth the money - though I paid a lower special rate (I think $15). It's getting a lot better by the week as he adds the photo tours. Something expires 60 days after, but I'm not sure how much - since I never checked out the site much until I became a member.

The organization is a bit non-intuitive, but after you're on it for a while it makes sense. There is so much information I'd be hard pressed to think of a better scheme.

It's probably as valuable as a guide book - but of course you can't just pull it out and read it on a train or anywhere away from your computer. Still, I was happy with what I got out of it (again- for $15 - not sure if it is worth $25 or whatever the full rate it.)

Last month I joined TGM for the second time. We used his park itineraries and all his various tips for our trip in April/May and it was all right on the money. We NEVER waited in long lines which was key considering my kids are 3 & 4. Not very patient!!!!

I think it is worth the money by a long shot.:)

You don't need to know exactly when you are going, you can just put in a rough time frame if that's all you know. And your access to the "subscriber only" information expires 60 days after you get home from your trip. Gives you plenty of time to write reviews or look up something you are interested in for the next time.

He's having a "Refer a Friend" offer right now until the end of the month to get a $5 discount. I passed the code on to some friends and deleted it before I saw this message. I'll see if I can retrieve it and pass it along to you.

If not, maybe someone else has the the code that they can post for you.

Do it, it's worth it!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I was able to get the code back for the discount. It is as follows: HE7KD-8GA. I think there is a box for a promo code on the purchase page when you sign up.

Enjoy your planning!!!!
