Question about Tour Guide Mike

I signed up for the service and have read lots of info on his web pages. For some reason though, I feel like I'm missing something. I thought I'd be able to type in my choices of restaurants, rides, and activites and wa-laa! I'd get this nice recommended itinerary of where we should be and when, and on what days (to avoid the crowds). Am I wrong with this assumption? I feel like I'm going around in circles.

Is there a page where all of this comes together where I enter my choices and get an itinerary?? I've already been on this site for a couple of hours and am just feeling overwhelmed because I can't find a place to enter any info so that I can get a recommended itinerary. I want to change my ADR's if they aren't at good times/days, and will need to do it soon. I just don't have a multitude of hours to do this without a page to enter my data. I've seen the check lists but I'm feeling like I'm missing something.

Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to post on the TGM forums for a little more detailed help, but I will say that you won't get an intinerary automatically. He gives you the info you need to come up with your own - which I think is better than one being spit out that may or may not be excatly right for your situation. There is a place to enter all your info once you research and find out where you are going on what days. It can be overwhelming at first, but stick with it and you will love it!

Although he doesn't print out an itinerary specifically for you, he will give his tips on how to tour each park with whatever age group you might have with you. It will say "first this, then this" but it is not based on info you have entered - so you can tweak it to fit your group. You can get the specifics if you post to the TGM forums - I'll look for you there!!

One thing that you have to remember is to check for your updates, he changes things and make recommendations based upon a combination of his experience and "what Disney does, and when." So keep checking and try to make your ADRs and things based upon the best info he can give you atm. Make sense?

Yes, that makes sense. Thanks for all of the replies. At least now I know that I'm not missing some vital piece of the puzzle! I guess I'll just make my own spread sheet and start plugging in info as I go.
