My Dh and I took the tour with Ryan. He was very informative but just did not click with him. But he did say the reason the castle garden has two castles is the designers where slpit in half half wanted the pretty one the others wanted the evil looking one. And after much discussion, whinning and depression they finally realized they where imagineers and could do anything so they put both in.

Anyways I was wondering about the tour. We did the pirates and jungle cruise. Ryan only gave a card code to a right answer on the Jungle cruise. And only a few of us got train teleporters for saying what our favorite ride was. By the way there will not be rides on VMK but the teleporters will signify the ride. My Dh did not. We all got pirate quest stuff and red penny press and the gold collector addition. Others are talking about doing Big Thunder mountain. We did not. Did we miss anything else on this tour.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking, LittleBelle, but I will tell you about the Disneyland VMK insider tour. Our Tour guide asked some questions, and occasionally she would hand out different cards for correct answers. Not everone got a card. Although I think our guide tried to spread it out. We had a very full tour (15 I think) We went on Jungle Cruise, where she handed out some Adventureland cards, and we went on BTM after which she handed out some BTM teleporter cards for correct answers to her trivia questions about the ride. I think she handed out maybe 5 or 6 BTM teleporter cards. Then we went on Pirates and afterward whe handed out the Pirate Quest and she handed out the pirate cards. When we turned in our headset and reciever at the end of the tour, she gave us the gold set card.

I hope you had a great time. I sure enjoyed being at Disneyland and going on the tour. An added bonus while I was there was that they were filming the parades and that was very fun to watch and be a part of.

Wow you had a headset and reciever wow. We just had to squish together. Yes that is what I was asking. what your tours where like.

Hi just took the tour at Disneyland. Califgirl's account of the tour was very much like ours. The headsets were awesome. I did ask about them and found out DL only has enough for two tours at a time, while I was told WDW has them for all of thier tours. I have taken other DL tours without the headsets and I could not hear anything, these are are great addition. We got all the same virtual cards that Califgirl mentioned, the only one thing I could add was the guest that declined riding BTM were all given a card for 500 points, as they could not compete for the questions about the ride. :earsboy:

Hi Little Belle,

We did the tour at WDW in the beginning of November. Sorry I can't remember who our guide was. Our tour was the same as yours ( no headsets) except we got to do the Haunted Mansion quest. This was just prior to it closing for a short rehab. While we did get to ride pirates we did not get the quest for pirates. Jungle Cruise was done the same way you described. Only people who answered questions got a card. We also did not do Thunder Mountain but DH thought it might have been down.
Hope this helps!
