question about tipping

I have a question about tipping with the disney dining plan. We are @ disney world now we are a party of 2 adults and 4 children (one child being a baby). We went to dinner lastnight and our waitress told us what we owed for tip which was 18% of the bill. I am assuming since we are a party of 6 gratuity is added but since one was a baby I didn't know if that mattered. We didn't feel like she deserved the tip we left and thought it was rude the way she went about telling us. Is that a suggestion or actually what we OWE? Thanks in advance

This is an easy answer, though. The baby counts as a person at the table, making you a party of six, so the 18% tip is automatic and part of your bill, and yes it is what you owe. This is the case whether the diners are on the dining plan or not. If you wish to dispute the amount, ask to speak to the restaurant manager.
