Hi Everyone! I'm new to the boards and I'm so excited that this great resource exists! I am planning on getting married the weekend of Dec. 19, 2009 :santa: (still waiting to find out which time and day I get). We have been going back and forth on whether the 2:30 spot or the 5:00 spot would be better. I really want a sunset wedding but I'm afraid with all of the windows that as the sun goes down (usually sets around 5:30 in Dec.) it will be glaring through the windows and ruin the pictures. Has anyone been in or been married in the Pavilion during sunset, preferably around this time of year?

Hey Jen =)

I'm getting married at the 5:00 spot this coming January, so I'm sure we'll have a setting sun and I purposefully chose this time because A.) I wanted an evening reception and B.) I think it'll make GREAT indoor light for taking pictures.

I wouldn't worry about any glare in your photos!

Hi! And congratulations on your decision!

I would consult with thr sales manager/wedding corrdinator on the early stages. We wanted the 5 pm slot but Disney told us that that timeframe is usually closed in December due to the early dusk. May or not may be true, but I think it's worth confirming with them

Thanks for the info! I'm actually in the lottery for the 5 pm slot on Dec. 19, so I'm assuming that means it's open to use. I'll know around Dec. 23 if I got it. I wonder why they told you that:confused:
