The trundle bed at POR.
First of all, it it available in a "water-view" room? (that is what we have reserved)
Has anyone here used it?
Is it equal to a twin bed?
My son is slim, but long.
Is it just small in width or also in length?
Does anyone have a pic of someone sitting or lying on it?
What is the biggest/oldest a child can be to sleep on it?
thank you.

Deb's "AllEarsNet" site has some great photos of POR, including a couple of the trundle beds. You can find the beds in photos number 15 and 16 at this link:

My DW and I stayed in the AB in '99 and had a trundle bed but had no use for it so I can't tell you how it was to lie on. We will be back at POR in less than 2 weeks.
Have fun at POR and don't miss Bob "The Piano Man" Jackson perform in the River Roost Lounge! He's hilarious. :cool1:

I was informed at POFQ you can get them there too.

They are not as big as a twin and the mattress is thin and lies on a rolling flat wooden board so that it slides under the beds in the room.

I stayed at POFQ last April and was offered one for our room as they had made a mistake reserving connecting rooms for us. Maybe this was a one off ?
