O.K. this is probably a silly question about the tickets we just rec'd in the mail that we bought through Ticketmania but I'll ask anyway. ;) They are basically a small, credit card size piece of paper, says "10 Day Park Hopper" "No Expiration" and the Age. Is that it? For some reason I thought it would be something looking like a credit card, plastic? Or do we exchange this for something else?

If you're staying onsite you can turn in those tickets and have them added to your room keys, which are plastic like credit cards. Otherwise, those are your tickets.

Have fun!

Don't worry, they may seem like they're just paper but they're really strong and sturdy.

That's right, they are actually a paper sandwich - thin layers of printable paper with a tough mylar base material in between. They're very durable and rip-proof, kinda like those Tyvek envelopes you get from FedEx or the post office.

Hi! I asked about this and no, you can't do this with tickets from anywhere but Disney. But, the tickets held up great for us (7 days) and they're on my DD's bulletin boards now with no wrinkles at the end of the week!

Have fun and don't worry about your tickets! :flower:

Another DISer reported earlier today that they were able to do this with their tickets from Ticketmania. Maybe it depends on the CM?? :confused3

Therein lies the story of everything at Walt Disney World. :rotfl:

Resorts have had the ability to put any MYW ticket onto the resort ID's since January. Does not matter where they were purchased from. Not every CM you ask will do it as some still don't know how or don't want to take the extra time that is required to do it. But it most definitely can be done.

Oh, you get to keep the tickets, after they're all used up? That's cool, we can put them in our vacation scrapbook...
We went to AAA office today to get ours and I was also surprised they were just paper. My daughter, 7, insisted the lady at AAA find her a ticket w/Mickey on it.

:) I know how that is...DD,9, was not impressed with her ticket with a logo for the stunt show on it!!!!

As for transferring the tickets to your room key...we missed out I guess, because we were told the tickets had to be purchased from Disney in order to do that. So, if I were you, I'd push the CM at check-in and see what can be done!! Good luck! :flower:
