Question about the terminals at Charles de Gaulle airport

Sorry, may sound like a really silly question but does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get to the TGV station from terminal 1?
Are the checking desks for each flight in the terminals they depart from.?

We are still deciding the best way to get to and from DLRP from CDG. My husband is really keen on using the TGV but looking at the airport map from the info thread here, it does look like quite a trek!!

The No. 1 shuttle travels between Terminal 1 and the station at Terminal 2, and I would allow at least half an hour to get there, after collecting your luggage - just to be on the safe side. The shuttle bus takes about 15 minutes (I think) though you want to allow for the fact that you may just miss one and have to wait for another.

To be honest, the TGV is amazingly quick once you're on it, but a taxi service would be a lot less hassle.

Not long on the shuttle bus obviously depends on how long you have to wait for a bus . but they do run pretty frequently.

On our last visit to Paris(not DLP) we got to the train station & took one look at the ticket queues & took a taxi instead. So be prepared for the station to be busy!

To avoid the lines, we use the train ticket vending machines.
