Hello! I know that special occasion badges are aviable, including ones for birthdays. My question is does it have to be your birthday to get it? When we go on our trip, it IS a birthday trip, but we won't be there for the actual birthday. I was wondering if it was still okay to get the badge or not. Thanks!

Absolutely!:)

Guests are welcome to celebrate their Birthday anytime at WDW!

Welcome to The DIS!

You can get the button for your birthday regardless of when your actual birthday is...they most readily available at guest services, but sometimes you can get them at stores or other informational locations.

They also have buttons for anniversaries, non-specific celebrations, and for 1st visits.

it's amazing the birthday problem on steroids. on any given day it seems about 10% of the park is having a birthday THAT day.

;)

Except for a few years ago when they had the birthday giveaway, where you could get free admission on your birthday. They never check or even ask, as long as you are within a +/- 6 month window of your birthday, you are good.

OP,in addition to Guest Relations locations at the Parks, you can also get the Birthday Button at the Front Desk of any WDW Resort.:)

It is even OK to celebrate America's Birthday!:)

(I wore this in the Parks on Independence Day-didn't take the pictutre until later.)
