Question about the recent room only discount

There's a room only discount that goes up to October 3rd.

I am waiting for this same discount for early December. I notice that my two very favorite resorts are on the list. The Beach Club Villas is discounted by only 20%, but the Boardwalk Villas are discounted by 30%. I would have thought they would both be 30%. Why do you think those two discounts are different ? Both of these resorts are wonderful, and they are just about equal for my choice for early December. Do you think I would be better off planning for BWV to get a possible future 30% off, instead of the BCV?

This would be a solo vacation. Thanks for any advice.

Difference is just going to be because they want more people to fill BW.

There are far fewer Villas at the Beach Club compared to the Boardwalk. Enough were already booked that Disney didn't need to offer more than 20% and by offering a larger discount for the BWV they were hoping to fill more rooms there.
