Question about the one-time-use points

Hello everyone.

One of my future trips may fall over my use year. According to the DVC website, I can "obtain a maximum of 24 one-time-use vacation points once per use year per membership". Does that mean I can potentially use up to the maximum at the start of my trip (which is one use year) and add up the maximum at the end of my trip (which is the next use year)?

Thanks in advance

Good question and one perhaps that only MS can answer. My take on it is that if you call today for a reservation that falls within 7 months of your trip, you could purchase up to 24 points for that trip. Once your next Use Year begins, you could call and purchase another 24 points.

Personally, I'd rather borrow from the next Use Year if the trip would use more points than I had available.

I'd also check with MS to see how they would handle the process since that's the only opinion that really matters. :)
