Question about the Lyft Minnie Vans

We got a great price on a flight in and will be arriving the day before our package starts, I tried to add a day to our reservations at CSR and they said they were already booked for December. Does Magical Express go from the airport to the Disney Springs hotels??? AND does the Minnie Van pick up and transport anywhere on Disney property? What is the cost, I heard $20 but don't know if that's per trip or person

DME doesn't go to any offsite hotels, only the Disney owned hotels ( they don't even go to Swan & Dolphin). Have you checked out staying one night in another Disney hotel? Then you could use DME.

No DME to Disney Springs hotels. You can use Uber or Lyft from the airport now.

We don't know yet whether Minnie Vans will go to the hotels in the future, but most people think not. The cost for Minnie Vans is $20 per car for up to 6 riders, at least for now; of course, that could change by December.

The Disney Springs hotels do have a shared shuttle service to all the parks that runs hourly all day long. It's not Disney Transport, but it's the most reliable and frequent of the non-Disney hotel shuttles. It's run by Mears. I don't know whether they send an extra bus when the scheduled one fills up.

I checked into a Disney hotel and the cheapest is ASMo at $175, we won't be getting in until really late so hoping to get something a little less.

It might be cheaper (or equal but much nicer) to spend the night in the airport Hyatt. If it's built as well as the Tampa Marriott, and I'm sure it is, you won't be able to hear the planes.

I would book the Hyatt at the airport, or any of the ones near the airport that have free shuttle to from the airport. That way, you can make a reservation for ME any time the next day you think you will be at the ME counter. Most people pick a close to time dummy flight as ME usually asks for flight info. That way, you have a good night sleep, and can be ready for a full day at the parks.
