Question about the Little Swimmer pull ups?

I really have no clue about the protocol on this issue. This is a legitimate question. My DD is 22 months old and is 100% potty trained on #2. #1 is hit and miss. She goes #2 once a day. My question is if she has already gone #2 is it ok to not use a swimmer in the public pool? I only do that with her little pool at home. If she has already gone I don't bother with a swimmer. Please let me know honestly if this is ok or not. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Swim diapers do not hold in pee, only poop.

Most pools allow swim diapers on kids - they do not keep urine in - but urine is not actually a big deal in terms of sanitation and health (its gross, but people don't get diseases from pools people have peed in - unless something is really wrong). Their goal is to keep feces in......which they do with varying degrees of success. If your kid has the runs the pool will end up closed.

It's true that swim diapers are only there to contain poop. I personally use them more often on vacation as our schedules are a little off, the food is a little different, and there's a higher level of excitement - all these things can cause accidents and I'd rather be prepared for that than have an "oopsie poopsie" and risk the angry glowers of other parents...

Thank you all for your input. I will definately have a swimmer on her at all times in the pool. Just in case.
