Question about the light up, flashing necklaces - batteries?

Hi, I found one of those flashing - light up necklaces at Disneyland under a bench. Not sure if they sell more than one style, but it seems to be the most common one seen - large in size, multi color, clear when not lit. Also has an on/off button.

The battery cover & batteries are missing, but does not appear to have any damage so I'd like to try it out, but I don't know which batteries it uses. There's a website labeled on it, and based on my search I think it may use three AG-13 batteries. Can anyone confirm this? Here's what the necklace looks like, color from the website may vary from the actual one:

Well, the first thought was...turn it into lost and found!

But barring that, if it does need AG-13 batteries, I got those so so cheap off Amazon. Bought the brand Tian Qiu, and they work well in our small lightsaber keychains (though those sabers do NOT easily come apart or go back together...it's almost like they want you to say "well, batteries are so expensive anyway i'll just buy new keychains"). So if you find that it does take those, amazon's sellers, and that cheapie brand, have worked well for me (just watch the shipping!).

Thanks, but I don't think anyone would have turned this particular necklace into lost and found - I don't think anyone would have kept it, the sweepers would have ended up with it. My guess is that it was dropped, stepped on, then unknowingly kicked under a bench because though it's in good shape that's what the plastic area looks like. But the battery housing inside looks good so I'd like to try it out, though the cover is missing.

Thanks. In case anyone is following the thread :surfweb:, I searched around the house and managed to find 3 AG-13 batteries, and the necklace works . Batteries stay in pretty well even without the missing battery cover, but I'll cover it up. We like to put flashing and glowing stuff on my mom's EVC scooter at night - well while at Disneyland, not just on random nights :goodvibes.

Tough to walk through the night-time crowds especially if you're traveling from the Fireworks show to the next Fantasmic showing, worse if you're in a scooter :headache:.
