Question about the Kennels at WDW

Hiya! I have a few questions regarding the kennels at WDW. Our dog is 13 years old and she loves to travel, so there will be no problem taking her to WDW. We will probably be staying there for a week, but we would go visit our dog multiple times throughout the day. Which kennel at WDW is the best? We will probably be staying at the Poly, so we were thinking about the one near the TTC. Are all the kennels clean and are the staff nice? I also wondered if the staff feed and walk your dog. We would like to feed and walk our dog ourselves, since she doesn't like strangers very much. I believe the cost is around $15 per day for resort guests, which is less expensive than any kennels near our home. Since our dog is so old and attached to us, we think taking her to WDW will probably be the best option. Thank you!!

It's been almost 5 years since I used their kennels so take this for what it's worth. I used all of them during our trip because I'd leave our Pug there when we'd go into the parks. We stayed offsite so she went back to our hotel with us afterward. All of the kennels were clean, but they are only cages. They do not have runs. At the time, the Epcot kennel would walk your dog at whatever times you designated for a small fee. You had to bring your own food, blanket, etc. You MUST provide paperwork showing the shot records. They were nice enough, but my dog (who is a big baby and very attached to us) could not handle being in a kennel. She would not eat or drink and was dehydrating (Pug's noses get white on them when they are dehydrating). This is why she goes on every trip with us and stays in the hotel or home we rent while we're in the parks now. We take midday breaks so it's no big deal and she's much happier. I wish Disney would take a page from Universal's book and have some pet friendly rooms....

Anyway, if your dog is used to kennel cages then, yes, I'd recommend them.
