Question about the grotto pool

We will be going to WDW in November. Trying to decide between BWI,Poly or Swan/Dolphin. I know the grotto pool is heated but my understanding is it is less so than the other resort pools. Will this make a difference in November,when teh weather is a little cooler? Thanks in advance.

I don't think the slight difference in the water temp makes a difference. The big thing in November will be the air temp which will be same at any resort. I guess the grotto pool was cooler enough that I noticed but it wouldn't make a difference to me in the ability to swim. It is either warm enough outside to swim or not.

I wish I could help you! I have only been to the Swan or Dolphin in June or July. The water, of course, is plenty warm then! I have heard that the Grotto pool seems colder than the other Disney pools but I have no proof to confirm those suspicions. Good luck with the information!

I find the grotto pool cooler then most of the other resort pools. If I go in the fall or winter I usually use the quiet pools.

We were there this past January. My kids swam, no problem. I had to tip toe in, but once I was in I was fine.

I liked the fact that the hot tubs were close to the slide. I would sit in the hot tub and count every time my kids went by.

Sidenote: Pick Dolphin over Swan. We wish we had!
