Question about the Grinch.......

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows during the holiday season, if the Grinch character appears in both parks? I have heard that you can take your picture with him, (like Santa), but I'm figuring that he would appear in Suess Landing in Islands of Adventure.

We are going for only 1 day to Universal Studios, but not to Islands of Adventure. I have emailed them, but so far, no answer. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have only seen the Grinch at IOA. During the Holidays I have seen him at IOA and Portofino Hotel (in the evening). Maybe you could take the boat over after your day at Universal and catch him at Portofino!

He's not at the studios. You can get a 1 day two park ticket at the main gates though. That way you can enjoy both parks!

The Grinch's Layer is set up basically as a themed line ending in a photo op with the Grinch. However, these photos are done by the park and they do have different picture packages and sales. I would recommend trying to get a photo of your own with him somewhere on the streets.

Mr Grinch is only in IOA, unless he makes the special appearances mentioned by jessicaR.

I want to thank everyone who responded. Now, thanks to all of you, I am aware that Universal has a 1-day/2-park pass!!! I have been there twice before but I never knew they had a pass like that. (Guess I wasn't paying enough attention) We will definately be buying that ticket. Since my now son learned the truth about Santa this year, I thought a picture with the Grinch would be an "okay" idea for him.

DS and I went through the Grinch's Lair last year and then got our pictures taken. It was very, very cool. The Grinch is yapping the whole time and making wise cracks. He told my son that he thought they had sprayed for kids! We have a great picture and great memories of that little walk-through.
