Question about the fitness centers

I was wondering if you rent DVC points from someone, would you get to use the fitness center at the hotel or not? I know you get to use it as a DVC member.

Our guests have always been able to use the Fitness Center. We don't rent points, but we have often had family with us. Their room keys say "DVC Members" so they can use the Fitness center by showing their room key. That's all that has ever been asked of them.

all the guests at that hotel can use the fitness centers. Disney changed the rules a while ago. DVC members have always had it for free. but Disney used to charge their WDW guests. they don't any longer.

now you probably can't hop to other fitness center. a DVC member staying on points can go to any of the DVC resort fitness center.

Thank you all so much! We will only be renting for this one time. We're hopefully going to buy a DVC at either the AKL or SSR. My husband is the one who was asking so thanks again.
