Question about the Disney chase $200 CC offer

I applied for and was approved for the Disney chase credit card. I only did it for the $200 gift card. I have not used this card yet, but am assuming I need to use it to get the gift card. Anyone have any idea? Do they automatically send it once I make a purchase? Thanks so much for your input

I did the offer with the $100 gift card. You do have to use the card. The gift card came a few weeks after 1st use. I didn't get the $200 offer but I'm assuming it's the same.

I did this and am waiting for my rewards card any day now. You do have to call and get them to send you a rewards card with the $200 on it after you use it one time.

If you saved anything from your application I would hold on to it. somebody posted a link to apply with a $200 giftcard and I got my disney visa in January.
I used it a few times and about a week later got a $100 credit on my account.
They gave me a different offer than I applied for.

Does it matter how much my first purchase is?

I have to call to get the gift card after my first purchase, it's not automatic?

Will they know by my application that it was for the $200 card, not the $100 card?

Yes, they gave me a $100 credit instead of my $200 gift card.

I filled out the form online and didn't print anything. I called and they said I must be mistaken and have just seen the other offer somewhere.

I've never been given a wrong promotional offer before, it was really strange and annoying... especially because I want that other $100! Judging just by how they totally didn't believe me, I don't think it happens enough to be worth worrying about, but I would print out a copy of the offer page or something.

The way I understood it, the $200 offer was only directed to specific customers by email or regular mail. If you used someone elses link maybe you didn't qualify for the $200 offer.
