Question about the contemporary

I have reservations for a standard view garden wing from 9/25-9/30. We requested a smoking room thru AAA. I saw in the passporter that only the south wing had smoking rooms on 1st and 3rd floor. What I was wondering is if the whole south wing is closed, where do they accomodate the smoking people? Does anyone know how the rehab is going?

We were there the first week of June. They were only closing sections of the wings at that time.

I believe they are doing a Floor at a Time in the South Wing, Not sure about the North Wing.

Well, you could always quit! Aside from that, I'm sure that if they close the smoking floors for renovation that they'd open another floor or wing for smokers. They won't just do away with it.

I did 7 years ago. It is my husband that needs to now. He wants to but has yet to find the courage. I am definitely hoping for a first floor room so that he can have the patio to sit out on and smoke.

Must be hard for you. I grew up in a family of smokers (not my parents but everyone else) and I know it was always much easier when a couple quit together than when one did, and then had to watch the other smoke. Good luck to him quitting in the near future!

I'll be at the Contemporary the same time. Also a smoker. Maybe we should arrange to meet up. Or maybe we just will.

That would be awesome. We will be arriving on the 25th around 12. There are 5 of us. Me, DH, Son who is 6 and twin daughters who will be 5 then.
