Question about the Cinderella DVD

Did it come in a widescreen edition? I bought mine at a wholesale club, and all they had was fullscreen. Is that all it was released as, or should I be able to find it somewhere in a widescreen?

It was only released in its original aspect ratio, which is the same as "full screen" nowadays. I think widescreen became the standard in the mid 50's (VistaVision etc.) after TVs became so popular in the home because movie producers thought that if they didn't have something "different" no one would go to the movies... they'd just stay home and watch tv.
