Question about the buy 5/get 2 or buy 4/get 3 promos.....

how do they determine the rates for the "free nights"? Do you just pay whatever the rate is for the first 5/4 nights and then the next 2/3 nights are free - no matter what those rates are? Or do they average the whole trip out to come up with an average nightly rate? I'm just doing up 2 scenarios to see what the difference in price could be. We're booked at the ASMU family suite so would get the 5/2 but if the 4/3 would give us a much bigger discount, we could upgrade. But we're going for 9 nts. and those 9 nts. span 4 different prices -- Peak weekday and weeknight and then Regular weekday and weeknight....... so my brain cannot handle all these variables, lol.

I would think you would pay the rate for the first part of you stay and the "free" dates would be at the end.

ooops, sorry to alarm people..... this is all just hypothetical based on past Feb. promotions. Just want to be prepared if they offer the same deal again.

Don't have any information about any new discounts or promotions. We just returned from DLR so don't have anymore Disney plans till next summer . I do know when we did the 4/3 last summer. We paid for the first 4 nights and the next 3 nights were free. Not sure if they have changed anything for this promotion.

Along these lines... what happens if you have a preferred room? Will the free nights be truly free, or do you have to pay the difference for preferred?
