Question About The $50 Gift Certificate Deal and Upgrading Passes

We are considering a totally last minute trip at the end of November, but we are interested in Annual Passes instead of Park Hopper passes....it would be totally worth it to drive to Chicago (only 3 1/2 hours, plus hubby can do business there) and buy the hopper passes just to get the $50 gift certificates....now, here is the question.....can we upgrade the hopper passes to annual passes once we get to Disney???

I don't know about it being worth your time and trouble to get the $50 gift card (it doesn't sound like you would be saving much to me), but if you decide to do this, there should be no problem upgrading your Hopper passes to Annual passes once you get to WDW.
