Hi All,

I wanted to know if a single cruiser paying 2 passengers fare can book one of the 35% off cruises that are VGT? The one I'm looking at is a VMT at the beginning of December and is a 4 night Bahamian from Miami. It's a VGT room and I would never be able to afford a Verandah if it was regular pricing. So, with my mom being sick I wanted to do a cruise earlier than the one I was going to go on. December is a close enough time that I know she'll be alright while I'm away. So is it possible for a single cruiser to book one of these cruises if paying the 2 passenger fare? Thanks so much. :santa:

Yes, I've been cruising solo lately due to my son's illness, and my three most recently booked cruises have been GT. You pay a little bit less for one cruiser than for two cruisers due to lower taxes and fees.

Thanks @Cheburashka . :smickey: I'm really happy about this. I'm actually going to go on a VMT cruise and there's money off on it. I looked a month or two ago and tried to budget this cruise for full price, but fell short a little with the amount it cost. With the cruise and the airfare, hotel, bus transfers from MIA round trip to POM it was a little too much for me to pay. Now I can do it. This will be my first cruise and my first solo vacation. I tried before for years to get someone to go with me and then recently I said I'll just go by myself. So I'm really psyched. My mom is doing okay so in under 4 months I think she'll still be doing okay. I'm getting insurance just in case she's not doing well. I have to wait until Monday for my Travel agent to get back from vacation and then she'll book it and I'll start getting things done. I cannot wait!!! 🎄

Be sure to have dinner at Palo and/or Remy. They have very good food and service (especially Remy- I recommend skipping lunch on the day you have dinner there). I have always dined there alone even when my son was well because I traveled as a single mom. I just bring my phone with Kindle on it and read a book while I eat, and the servers are always very nice. If you have dinner at Palo, get the chocolate souffle for dessert. Imo dinner is better than brunch at both restaurants.

@Cheburashka I will definitely try to get Palo Brunch. I'm not big into gourmet food, but Palo brunch sounds really good. I know the buffet is gone, but I won't know the difference. I will try to get it at 75 days out and then if I can't get after checking everyday I will try onboard. I have a dress for it. It's just a maxi dress and a cardigan, but I'm sure it will look nice. When picking out clothes to wear to dinner and Palo I got 3 outfits that are blue. I must like blue an awful lot. 😅 I want to try the Chicken Parmesan. 🤤 Is it December yet? 🤔

Have fun. I will add that imo dinner is better than brunch (even when they had the buffet), but to each his own. Palo isn't gourmet even at dinner- that would be Remy. Palo is just very high quality food, but not fancy gourmet.
