I want to try Teppanyaki on my upcoming trip. However, I am allergic to shellfish. Will they cook my chicken and/or steak on a separate grill from the ones used for shellfish? I certainly don't want to walk around Disney in late August with hives!! Thanks.

I would call before you go. They all of meat and shellfish cooked on the same grill when we were there. If is a slow night they might beable to use that is not grill that in use, we each everytime we have been all the grills have been use.

In really did enjoy the last time we went. The chef did not any special. The had to ask to make the volcano, and with that he was not happy. They also taken something away from the meal. You use to get a salad with the meal and now don't, but course the price has not changed. In my opionion it worth the money costs.

I am not sure how they would accommodate you with your request, but it might be worth a phone call. I agree with the previous poster, they have taken away the salads that usually came with the meal and also they do not take the Disney Dining Experience card for those who have it...

Thanks. I'll be on the free dining plan, so the cost does not matter. I just don't want hives!

Who would I call? WDW-DINE? Or the restaurant? Shellfish allergies are quite common, so I should think they would have some type of accommodation for it????

I am allergic to scallops. They don't have a shelllfish free grill. The best they will do is keep the shellfish on the other side of the grill away from your food. But they use the same utensils. Fortunately my scallop allergy isn't bad, and cross contamination isn't a huge issue. I have to actually consume scallops before I get hives.

Bottom line, you might be better off avoiding eating there. They are not WDW owned or operated, and definitely aren't as concerned with allergies and such.
