My husband and daughter would like to know more about the store Tatooine Traders in MGM. What types of Star Wars stuff do they sale and what are the price ranges.
Thanks,
Lora

They have some really cool superimposed pic's you can take for I think about $30. They will give it a test run for you to see if you'd like to purchase. It takes your face and puts in on whatever Star Wars star you can think of. As far as other merchandise price runs the gamit. I remember seeing stuffed mickey's dressed as the actors, legos, light sabers, t-shirts, collectibles, mugs, glasses...you name it. It is a cool store and I am not even a Star Wars fan.

I got a really cute toy Ewok last year I love it! i will have to see if I still have the price on it when I get home tomorrow (I am at my parents babysitting their dog) I also got a flashing light saber keyring which was aroung $10.

Last october my husband bought 'blasters' for him and my son. We also got the yoda light saber when we were there in January...really hard to find up in the NE. They do stock more the the hard to find items and have some things that you can only get there. Just fyi...the blaster's could NOT be taken on the plane...thank goodness for the nice people at the airport who found us a box to put them in. I guess they look too much like real weapons. Have fun!

DH & DS's spent a least an hour in that store! DH did get the photo of himself as Anakin Skywalker AND he got the special black frame. He would've gotten the light saber if I'd of let him! We got toys, bumper stickers, keychains and a book too. In case you couldn't guess, I live with three very fanatical Star Wars fans!

If I could find the General Grievous Galactic Hero figure there I might just kiss a Wookie! :teeth: Anyone know if they sell those?

There are items for as little as about $1.50 (bumper stickers, magnets, etc.), all the way up to about $300 for things like the R2D2 robot. During SWW they have special collectors merchandise available only on Fr-Sa-Su.

We got one of these with my older son and my daughter and it turned out fantastic. It's one of my favorite pictures and they are boty Star Wars nuts.

Its good to know that I am not the only woman with a star wars fanatic for a hubby! Both my hubby and my daughter would love one of those pics! Thanks so much for the info!

Hi...can someone tell me if they sell the regular Hasbro action figures there? My 6 yr old is convinced they'll have the figures he can't find elsewhere...I hoping even if they don't, there'll be enough other stuff to distract him! pirate:

If you don't find it there, I would suggest looking at Once Upon a Toy in DTD. They seemed to have quite a bit of Star Wars toys last year when we were there. If you don't find it at WDW, let me know and I will look for it here in Georgia. My younger son is a Star Wars freak and he has all of those Galactic Hero characters.

Drummin, I believe that they do sell the regular figures there as well, again what you don't find there, look at Once Upon a Toy.

We had trouble with my DS's LIGHT SABER!!! Didn't even THINK about this when we were checking in at the air port last May. He bought a toy lightsaber (the ones that are like 10 bucks--not the $200 ones!!) and had it in his carry on. When they asked him what it was at the x-ray thing, he said it was a lightsaber. Obviously the TSA person was NOT a Star Wars fan and was going to not allow him to go through. He explained it was a toy. After they took it out and looked at it, they let it pass. But it was ify for a while there!!
