Question about Targe 75.00 BF purchase for 20% shopping pass

Help. I noticed on BF if you spend 75.00 you get a 20% shopping pass for first week of December. HOPING this pass can be used on Disney Gift cards. But will Disney giftcards on BF generate at 20% shopping pass? Meaning if I buy 75 in Disney gift cards is that considered a purchase?

I was wondering the same thing. We are going to the store- but it does not say anything about cards making up that $75 purchase.

There's a thread on this on the Disney Cruise Line forum. No one is sure whether or not the Disney gift cards will be included. I'm tempted to spend $75 to get the coupon and see how it pans out.

I am going to try it but it won't be until later in the day. I don't know why it wouldn't. I've never had any problem getting the 5% off when buying Disney cards. They consider them "entertainment," not gift cards like Target gift cards. Based on the fine print in the ad, they aren't excluding any gift cards from the $75 qualifying, just prescriptions, optical, clinic purchases, tax and shipping and handling.

there is nothing I need at target and going for this tomorrow would be a special trip and if I knew it would work I would for sure! But Chase Freedom is running bonus 5% in Jan, Feb and March and when Giant Eagle runs double fuel perks it is the equivalent of getting a 100 Disney giftcard for 83 dollars....I stock up usually then. SO I am aving a hard getting motivated for the extra 3 percent that MIGHT work..........UGH.....I think I am bagging it...

Went to the store tonight maybe similar maybe not, but it worked with the xbox 360 cards. In fact she gave me 2 because I spent $150.

Yes - just did this with no problems.

My DH and I each spent $75 so we could get two coupons and he had to throw in a $25 Disney card to put him over $75 and as soon as the cashier saw $75 spent she handed us the coupons. Nothing triggered her to hand it to us so it was no problem.

At Target at 2 AM this morning I almost did not get a coupon. I had to ask for it, the cashier then said I did not spend $75. I pointed out I had spent 75.49. She gave me one with a sour look and muttering!

placed mine online as well. And signed up for red card, just incase this works. for an extra 5%!

I don't know how to tell if I got this coupon for my online order or not.

Yikes!! That's why I also mentioned nothing triggered the cashier to hand us the coupons but luckily she was paying attention. Our cashier also handed us the coupons (each) as soon as we hit $75 and before any coupons, cart wheel, etc which I also found odd.

Don't be afraid to point out to them you earned it if they don't hand it to you automatically!

At my Target, the employee who was managing the line was encouraging everyone to remind the cashiers if we earned a coupon. It was all very nice and friendly.

Oh totally agreed! I was in my Target twice last night/this morning and that's why they rock and I LOVE Target. I had just read conflicting reports beforehand that the register would trigger the coupon or alert the cashier somehow and this was not the case. It certainly should help those who want to spend $75 with some gift cards in there to get one of the coupons since they didn't seem to care what you bought, just as long as you spent $75.
