Question about taking a baby...

I heard that some theme parks have this and was wondering if Disneyland does:

For example, if DH & I are standing in line for Space Mountain with our baby, DH could go on by himself while I stand to the side and hold our baby, then when he returns I could go on by myself while he stands to the side and holds our baby. That way we could both go on without standing in line twice. Make sense?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Absolutely. It's called a baby switch pass. You have to ask a CM as you enter the line. They will give you a pass and tell you where to wait. You will usually enter with the baby switch pass through the exit after your spouse completes his/her ride but, once again, the CM will tell you what to do.

I was just there and had to do this. Just ask the CM at the entrance of the ride. You get a pass that tells you what to do. Each ride is different. Some have you enter thru the exit and some have you enter thru the fastpass line. It works great! I had fastpass's and baby swap passes and never had my toddler wait in the line with us. The baby swap pass is auctually good for two people so you dont have to ride alone.

Have a good time!

1. The father stands in line (he can use a fast pass or handicapped assistance type of pass).
2. When father gets done riding with the family, then mother, who has been sitting and resting, (me feminist) uses the Baby switching pass.
3. Mother may take one person with her unless her party can fit into one seat like on Big Thunder. Usually Cast Members allow only one person to go with mother.
4. This situation can work the other way around with mother or any other adult standing in line.
5. Because only one person can reride with the switching pass, make sure that everyone takes turns and understands this.
6. Have fun.

Some people abuse this system by leaving the baby with a nonrider like grandmother, then 2 members can reride with little wait, instead of only one. These same people also use their kid's or grandmother's ticket to get a fast pass on rides that the ticket holder cannot ride. This is grounds for a one way ticket out of the park. They are watching.
