Question about syncing magic bands

My mom is joining us on our trip, but she has her own room and reservations. I put her on our friends and family list and she accepted, so when I make fast passes will hers be linked up to it as well?

As long as she has tickets linked and you can see her under your family and friends you should be able to make FP+ selections for her when the time comes.
Magic bands has nothing to do with this.
