question about swa

When you have flown out of there how far inadvance did you buys tickets? I notice they have specials but right now for Jan and Feb we arent going till May.
Wondering if I should wait to see if there will be special in May

We bought in May for our late Sept trip, pretty much as soon as the schedule was posted. Later when we went to add my dad and husband to the trip the prices had gone down due to a sale. I called and they gave us a credit, and then credited the credit card.

I would say buy as soon as you know your dates, then just keep watching the sales. When the price goes down, give them a call! We were going to try to sneak a trip in in April, but the dates were already sold out, so I would highly advise to book early!!

Hi, I'd book early and then if a sale comes out you will get the credit for it. My understanding of the seat sale for Jan/Feb was because they added more non-stop flights to Orlando and Tampa. And also because it's value season!

If you see the dates you want open now, book them and then keep checking to see if the prices are dropping call or make the changes online to your tickets. The Canadian Board is how I found out about the cheap seats for January and that's why we went!

I love SWA. I have booked as early as when the new schedule opened up to a month before. You have to keep checking your schedule-once in the morning and again before bed. Their sales start on Tuesdays.

Hockeymom: Do you have any idea as to what time on Tuesdays SWA posts their sale prices? I can't believe how inexpensive their seats are during off seasons. ITs too bad we have to fly around the Christmas holidays. I'm sure their prices rarely get inexpensive then.

How are you enjoying this weather in our area? I CAN'T stand it.
