Hi
Has anyone ever requested a set of real dishes when staying in a studio?
TIA

We usually do studios because I rather do several trips to get the most of the basic points I own. I have stayed at SSR, OKW and BCV all in studios. So far we have never had any real dishware. There are paper bowls, plates, cups, but there is a coffee maker, toaster and micro. The fridge is small but holds a few bottles of water.

The sink is very small (kind of like a bar sink), so it would be hard to wash all those real dishes.

We stay in studios at SSR all the time and bought ourselves a couple of plastic plates-they are microwavable and washable-and a couple of sporks (combine fork and spoon) as well as a couple of matching bowls. Combine those with the microwave scrambled egg maker and they take up very little room in our luggage but enable us to have a nice breakfast daily. (eggs, cereal, etc) We easily wash them in the sink each day, when we wash the coffee cups . Much nicer than eating off paper and plastic. We also have two plastic wine glasses. For two of us it works out just fine.

We keep "real coffee mugs" in our Owner's Locker, but other than that the sink space in the Studio is difficult for really handling dishes (IMO).

We do some of the same things, esp. when we're there for 2 weeks. We pack a cutting board and small knife and a set of real utensils for each of us. We don't do alot of meals in our room, but often do breakfast. We also bring small bowls. If we drove down, we would take real plates, but since luggage space is valuable, I've not done this yet.
