Question about Storytime with Belle

Next summer, we are taking my little cousins with us. One of them really wants to meet Belle. The ladies on the trip are going to go to breakfast at the castle (well, attempt to go to breakfast at the castle) which, I guess, has the possibility of seeing Belle.

However, since allearsnet says Belle is just a possible character, is there anyplace to meet-and-greet with Belle other than at a character meal?

Does she meet-and-greet after Storytime with Belle?

While I've been to the park many, many times, it's been years since my brothers and I have been the age to have "worry" about planning on seeing characters. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

Belle's Storytime is very guest-interactive so not only will they be able to meet her, they may be chosen to participate in her story! Isn't that sweet?

Yes, at the end of the show she has a little bit of time to meet and greet, but you and your cousins should sit to the right of the theatre, so you can be close to first in line. Unfortunately she doesn't have all day.

It's also possible to meet Belle in Epcot/France in her secret library sometimes with Beast - she's usually there every day at set times. Check out http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ for times

Thanks to you both. I totally forgot about the possibility of seeing her in France. We'll be checking out Storytime with Belle for sure and I'll try to remember to tell them to sit on the right. Thanks.

Yeah last year when our little cousins went with us, they not only were chosen to participate (she was Chip) but they also got to meet her after the show. So yes you'll be able to meet her after the show.

Definitely sit on the right side at Storytime. She goes to that side to form the line. Last year we were on the far left, and towards the back. DS was in a wheelchair - there was NO WAY to navigate to that side of the theater in time. Even without the chair, it would have been difficult at best to get over there.

definately sit on the right!! there is a ramp that goes around - my DD always sits on that wall and I stand her up at the end and boom - she is first in line -no one else really knows what is going on!

DD was chosen to be chip last time and this is what I did to help her get chosen -

I told her when belle's friends first walked out to say hi - so they walked out and she yelled hi - they looked at her and waved - then when Belle came out I told her as soon as Belle faces the front yell - Hi Belle - which she did - (Belle is lost in her book and kind of looks for a cue to notice the audience) next thing I know Julia is up on stage as Chip -

we talked with Belle's friends as we were leaving and they told us the second Julia yelled to them they knew she was their chip -

We went in May and both our girls were picked to be in the play DD4 was Cogsworth and DD2 was Chip. We sat on the left of the stage in the 2nd row. Belle's friends came and picked the kids from the audience to go on stage which was a surpriise to us! DD4 favorite is Belle so the look on her face when she was up there with her made the entire trip worth every $ for us!! She was also picked o the last day we were there to pull the Sword form the Stone!! She was upset when Merlin told her she was Queen of MK because she wanted to be the Princess!!

Both of my DD's were picked to be in Bells show too. This was our first or 2nd trip to WDW. One was Mrs. Potts. One was Lumiere. It was so cute!!

Another place we have seen Belle is inside of Exposition Hall in MK. Its the camera store to the right of the train station when you walk under the station. Go all the way past the store, on the left hand side to the back. There used to always be characters there!!! Mostly princesses. We used to be able to find all 7 dwarfs back there too, but it seems they all arent out except at the Halloween party ( we saw them all then 2 years ago) OH! AND at the character meet & greet in front of the big hat at MGM.. we have seen Belle and Beast there every trip!!

In France, be sure to look for the stained glass window of belle's story. Her library is right inside. She is usually there with Beast, and we saw Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) there also.
PS - my son was picked to be Gaston in the storytime. Very funny!
Belle came down from the stage afterwards to great a young lady in a wheelchairy, so if anyone would have that type of situation, mention it to Belle's helpers.
