Question about storage in 1 bedroom villas

I am considering a 1 bedroom villa at either SSR or Riviera due to the Murphy bed. There would be 3 adults. I’m not a fan of sofa beds and do not want to put anyone on one. My question is; what kind of storage are at either of these resorts in that area of the villa? (Murphy bed area) I have seen in videos that there are some drawers under the seating at the table at RR but don’t remember seeing anything at SSR. I appreciate any insight anyone has on this topic. I’m just trying to visualize where she would store her clothes, etc.

Can't answer about storage, but I'd caution that depending on date, not all of the 1BRs at Saratoga have the murphy yet. Right now, you can only rely on them in Preferred 1BR units. May be a while until most of Standard have them. If you're looking 11 months out you might be fine, but since these are your choices I'm guessing it might be much sooner.

This is a great question. I re-watched a youtube video tour of a refurbished one bedroom and paid closer attention to the living room. With the two fold-down beds there appears to be almost no storage. There is a hassock that opens into a bin, and a couple of shallow shelves on either side of the bed but if you pile into one you would block a light switch. I think people in this room will be living out of suitcases perhaps.

Thank you Bill, that was kind of my thought. I would hate to put my friend in that predicament. I will keep watching new videos to make sure I’m not missing anything but I think that’s the only storage for anyone using the Murphy bed.

Looking at the videos of Riv, it looks like the only two storage places in that area are under the table seat and in the coffee table. However, there is a big hall closet right inside the front door across from the washer dryer that has plenty of room for hanging clothes as well as suitcases. The master has it's own closet and a full dresser so those that stay in the living room could use the entire hall closet. Also, I know we are staying at Riv in early December and my daughter and grandtinker will be in the living room. We already told her that they can have the storage in the bathrooms as well as there is quite a bit in the one side without the toilet and a little in the one with the toilet. We will have plenty of storage for Mrs. Ally and myself in the master.

Thanks nelsonkg, great idea. I did notice in a few videos that some of the 1 bedroom villas have a small 2 drawer dresser to the right as you walk in the front door just before the kitchen/table area. That would be great for her. I just don’t think every 1 bedroom has that. I’m writing down the room numbers that I’ve spotted that in. . I appreciate your idea!
