If you don't have a rental car, how does one go about moving from one resort to the other? I imagine we could take the resort buses with our suitcases, or Uber but Will Disney help move guests? For a fee?

Thanks so much in advance. We've never done a split stay but may consider it for a future
10 DAY MEGA-VACATION!!!! (bonus points if you said that in movie-announcer-voice!)

We often do split stays and have one coming up in late spring. You can take your luggage if you want, but on our move day, we drop our luggage off with bell services. We tell them what our new resort will be, and then head to a park. After a morning of fun, we head to our new resort. After checking in and getting our room, our luggage is delivered to us. We find it very easy and often pack a bag with our swimsuits, so we can enjoy the pool as often our room is not ready until later in the afternoon.

As Nolanboys said Bell Services will transfer your luggage (at no cost- we tip bell services). It will typically arrive at by 3 or 4 PM at your new resort, easy peasy. When you get to your new room just call down to bell services and they will bring it up.

A couple fyi's:
-You can NOT bring luggage on resort busses.
-Have a backpack or tote with everything you need for the day (bathing suits etc.. med's)
-Some will say to use Uber or a Cab which you can but I don't like to waste the time doing that. We have done at least a dozen, if not more split stays, and have never had an issue.

Disney makes split stays pretty easy and will move everything for you, even groceries. We have done a few of them but find that you lose time with the check out and check in, pack up and un pack process. I like experiencing more than one resort but prefer to do it only for a visit of more than 10 days.

Member Services told me that Bell Services will not arrange transfers from an All Star or Pop Century transfer to a DVC resort but will from any other resort to a DVC resort..

They don't know what they're talking about. Bell services is a completely separate entity.
