Question about split stay

So I'm one of the northerners affected by the snow. Boo!! I was supposed to arrive tomorrow at AKV, but it's being pushed back to Monday. We wanted to change our checkout day from the 30th to the 31st to make up for our lost time, but they're all booked up. So we need to switch to SSR for our last night.

We won't have a car and we have a 1 year old, so cabs and Uber are out of the question. I know bell services can take our luggage over. We're having groceries delivered by Garden Grocer. I know they'll stay refrigerated when they're delivered, but what about the transition between resorts? It's only one night, but we'll have milk left for the baby and morning cereal. (Maybe other stuff too, I don't know.) We're normally all day park people, so it would really be frustrating to have to physically take our stuff to the next hotel before we can head to the parks. I'm already bummed about the split stay.

I would suggest you pack a soft side cooler and ziploc bags for ice. If you need milk when you are "homeless" you can always buy some. Any chance you can stay cheaper and extend another day? (I always want one more day!) Don't stress about the move. Ask for late check out if you can make it work with your day..... and have fun!

We could, but stupid responsibilities of work and school mean we have to come home. Boo.
