Question about Special Planning

Does anyone know if it is possible to have things set up in your room prior to checking in? Can you order merchandise/champaigne/etc to have left in your room for when you arrive?

I thought I had once found a phone number for a special guest service, but I can't seem to find the number anywhere!

I am trying to set something up for when relatives go to WDW to celebrate their anniversary this fall!

Just keep in mind that until you are checked in that room could be assigned to someone else. They could be enjoying your surprise. I would arrange for it after they are checked in.

FYI - when we got engaged and then honeymooned in WDW - friends/family sent stuff to our room (champagne/wine)
they wouldn't leave it in our rooms...CM's can't deliver liqour without checking ID.
yes, we were over 21...but still.

so just be aware of that.

I think this is the second post I've done like this today! But they have a big selection of snack baskets, balloons, champagne, wine, etc. We sent one to our in laws for thier anniversary. Once you check in, they will let them know they have a package--they'll have to pick it up at the front desk.

Like Safetymom said, they won't be able to have it in the room, because they don't know which room will be theirs! But the ILs loved it.
