Question about Southwest

Hi, I called today to see about a confirmation number for us so that I could check-in online 24 hrs ahead of our flight and the guy checked and since we already have our tickets I can't do the check-in on-line like that but he said that once we get to the airport (which is hour & half from us) to check-in and then we'd probably be put in group B or C. I told him we had a 4 year old and he said we'd get to board right after the A section, my question is my parents are going with us to so could they board when we do?

OK. I don't get the "Since we already have our tickets" part. That makes no sense. Call back and try again. I think you got someone who got confused. You should still have a confirmation number that you can check in with (I don't even think SW has "paper tickets"!)

I have never heard of SW not doing 24 hour check in unless your name matches one on the No Fly list.

When we were at MDW in SEP there were some SWA passengers who had paper tickets. I don't know how they got them or why but there was a separate line for people with paper tickets.

I just cruised the SW website and I can't find any way to even GET a paper ticket!

If your parents have "disabilities", they can board with the A group also. I have arthritis and use a cane. They always put me in Group A without asking.

We booked out trip through a travel agent who found our trip through Southwest Airline Vacation, we got the tickets in the mail along with out Magical Express info. Is that not normal?

I just called back and she checked my confirmation number I was given and since they were through vacations you get the actual tickets and you have to check-in at the airport.

You shouldn't be boarding with the A group. You should be boarding before the A group with the Medical pre-boards. That's the group for people with disabilities.
