Question about soft drinks with dinner

I know I must sound petty but I'm going over a budget for dinner while we are there to see what makes more sense (dining plan vs non dining plan) I noticed on the menu there is a cost for speciality drinks etc but is regular soft drinks free?

Free refills. And we usually get one soft drink for two of us and share.

When considering the DDP, would you want the soft drinks? I have no interest, but the DDP would NEVER work for the way I eat, so it's moot. Now, if they started covering booze...lol.

Are you asking if you get the dining plan whether a soda would be included as a drink choice with your meal? Or just if you have to pay for them if you pay OOP? If you have dining plan, soda/fountain beverages will be included with a meal. I always get soda or iced tea with mine. If you pay OOP, most counter service restaurants show the cost as $3.29 on their menus. Table service do not seem to list cost, but probably similar.

And to piggyback on cassie58's post, IF you get the DDP, the specialty drinks will usually not be available to you as your drink, so if you want them, you'll have to pay OOP for them.
