Question about Sky Auction website

I just saw what looked like a great deal on Vistana Suites $24 bid where for $200 more I could've upgraded to a 2-bedroom, but it was for 7 nights. Could I have extended that to more nights?

I've tried looking at the help section on the website, but this tpoic wasn't covered or was hidden somewhere.

Also, do you guys suggest if I go this route to buy the insurance?

This seems crazy to me, you mean I could've won a 7 night stay at this place for $24 + $200 upgrade + insurance + service fee???

It's a $195 service fee on all timeshare weeks except the bid per nights, which are usually $32 per night service fee. If the $200 listed for an upgrade to a 2 bdrm that is an ADDITIONAL charge above and beyond your bid, the $195 and the $15. Hope that helped. I've booked dozens of these weeks and I've never bought the insurance. I guess I've been lucky and used them all. :)

I don't think you can add nights through SkyAuction. You might be able to do that through the resort, but it will not be as cheap.

I have never been offered any insurance on my Sky Auction bids. Must be something new.

And, yes, you can win auctions for 24 bid + 195 service fee + 15 processing fee! However, Visitana usually goes for more than $24. That does not include any upgrade fees, though. Not all auctions offer that option.
