hi all my DH and almost 4 year old are going in dec -- we are planning on getting the dining plan -- but my 4 year old is beyond beyond picky!! so im planning on sharing alot of meals -- but i know u can't share buffet or all u can eat restaurants -- but that seems to be the "style" of most of the recommened restaurants -- so on with my questions lol -- what is your favorite sit down restaurant that u just order at -- either B,L,or D thanks a million!!

2 faves that come to mind that are sit down non-buffet, non-all you can eat are San Angel Inn at Mexico in Epcot and Alfredo's at Italy in Epcot. Oh another option might be Sci-Fi at MGM....those are the ones that come to mind for me....hope it helps. :wave2:

Lots of people like Le Cellier in Epcot.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch in MK. Dinner at MK, maybe the Plaza Restaurant for a non-buffet meal.

AK has no sit down restaurants. I don't like any of the restaurants enough at MGM to say, "oo-oo go here." but the Brown Derby gets decent reviews, but it spendy.

Resort Restaurants...Yachtsman's Galley is a nice restaurant with good variety and decent prices (at the Yacht Club). B, L, or D.

Also the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian has a nice menu for all 3 meals of the day.

There are other sitdowns that are more "signature" restaurants that might not be ideal for your DS if he is that picky as they have a more gourmet menu.

Good Luck.

Kona Cafe at the Poly also has good food.

50s Prime Time Cafe is the top of our list for that sort of thing. It is especially great for kids, and for picky eaters. Another good choice is Spoodles.

We did the same thing on our last trip since our DD was considered an "adult" but eats like a bird. Here is where we ate:

alfredos lunch
whispering canyon cafe (not the skillet)
tempura kiku
sci fi
rainforest cafe (although not a good option if you are on dining plan)
teppanyaki (DD and I shared a meal, but that was pre dining plan, so I don't know if you can share here on dining plan)
california grill (although DD got a kids meal here while I ordered a regular adult meal, but we could have shared)

Hope that helps.

Maggie
